Jessica Eich is the author of A Place to Start and the creator of Flourishing Tree Studio. Her heart is to help people who want to know God but are unsure where to begin, especially adults who are exploring faith for the first time or returning after time away. She understands how overwhelming it can feel when everything seems unfamiliar and full of words, expectations, and assumptions that can make starting feel intimidating.

Her own journey shaped the desire to create resources that are clear, approachable, and grounded in Scripture. Jess believes faith does not have to begin with having all the answers. It can begin with honest questions, a willingness to learn, and a simple step forward. Through her writing, she hopes to create a welcoming place where readers feel encouraged to grow at their own pace and build a real, lasting relationship with God.

Flourishing Tree Studio was born from that same vision. Jess wanted to create not just one book, but a space for thoughtful, faith-centered resources that help people grow step by step. Her goal is to continue developing tools that bring clarity, encouragement, and confidence to those seeking a deeper understanding of God and His Word.

Outside of writing, Jess enjoys photography, reading, traveling with her husband, and creating meaningful projects that encourage and support others.
